World Pipirrana Day 2026 🍅
Come and discover the true taste of Jaén! We invite you to participate in a cooking workshop and tasting of the famous "Pipirrana Jiennense." You will learn how to prepare it from local experts and we will all enjoy this traditional dish together.
🥗 What is Pipirrana? It is a traditional, refreshing salad from Jaén, perfect for warm weather. Its base consists of finely chopped fresh tomatoes, green peppers, and garlic, all dressed with local extra virgin olive oil and salt. Traditionally, it is served mixed with hard-boiled eggs and canned tuna. (Please read the ingredients carefully and let us know below if you have any allergies!)
🗓 Date: Wednesday, May 13th ⏰ Time: 12:00 PM 📍 Location: Covered hallway in front of Building B4 (Las Lagunillas Campus)
⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Spots are extremely limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
